ACE Digital Nation Questions

Hi again. This is my second blog and I am going to use it to post my homework questions for the movie "Digital Nation."

1. Do computers give us more human connections or less human connections?

I think computers give us more human connections because then you can communicate with someone who is far away. You can meet new people on the computer. Also, computers give us more human connections because it is easier to tell people things that are harder to say face-to-face.

2. If you had to write 5 rules for internet ethics and manners what would they be?

1) Don't reveal any personal information.
2) No using offensive language/threatening anyone
3) No asking for personal information from other people
4) Respect all cultures/races
5) Respect everyone on the Internet. We are all equal, no one is superior to another
3. Do you think teachers should encourage or discourage multitasking?

I think teachers should discourage multi-tasking because than grades in school can go up. For example, some kids listen to music while doing homework. This can result in too much of a distraction and they can't focus on their homework as well. If you do homework in a quiet environment you can give all your attention to the homework, and therefore you put in more of an effort and get a higher mark.

4. Write a 6 word story summarizing an experience that you've had "living" online.

Sitting and staring at a screen.

My First Blog

Hey this is my first post and I'm going to start off by explaining my blog. For my project I am going to do ballet because I am a ballet dancer and I guess the topic interests me.

Ballet is actually an amazing thing and most people don't consider it a sport but the truth is, it works the muscles harder than most sports. Honestly, if you started doing ballet right now, you'll be sweating in five minutes. Most dancers start when they are around five or six, but I started when I was seven. This year, I do ballet for around 4 hours a week.

Anyway, I will also be using this blog to post homework for ACE class. Thanks for reading my first blog!
